Sorry I know this wasn't meant for me but I'm excited!! I didn't know there was a new one out and I agree the writing has not been great recently...

Oh good, I'll have to look out for that. I've been disappointed by the recent batch. But I managed to get my new line manager hooked on Jack Reacher!

Meanwhile, back in Traitor - the reason Vila doesn't like Tarrant is surely not because he's young and handsome but because he bullies him. I think Avon's listing the reasons HE doesn't like him.

Charity thought a voice over sounded like Orac..... then she put it together that Orac and Zen and Slave are voiced by the same person. Um yeah we've been drinking

Travisina recommended them to me a few years ago and I've been hooked ever since! I thought I'd read them all until I recently realised I hadn't read "Make Me" so reading that currently. Looking forward to reading The Midnight Line now. Grin

I'd take Avon over Tarrant, my Della wouldn't.

I'd take Vila over both of them though, we'd be drinking buddies Oops

Though I bet you when its his shout, he's already knicked the money out of my wallet

Me too! Although not as much as my sister, who I went with, she had a girl crush on her growing up...

Grin Grin I'd rather be drinking buddies with Tarrant, I'd enjoy cosying up to him on a bar stool...

I agree about the fog and gloom Travisina, it does make it look very atmospheric!

I'm not sure who thought it would be a good idea to reuse Avon's costume on the Helot's and Tarrant in the same episode!

So Hunda thought he had a friend in the federation, a kind of inside agent but Leitz was just pretending he wasn't a friend at all, hence the name of the episode...

I've just been playing 'spot the costume' and then thoroughly enjoying the fight sequence - one of the very best, IMO. Properly cinematic (shot and edited on film, on location, great stunts) - as opposed to the more stage-like fighting in studios.
