Message from Sally Knyvette...

I will be doing a major charity walk next week in aid of Alzheimer's.
25K across 16 London bridges!..Putney to Tower Hill!.....I'm probably insane... but I believe this is a very good cause
so have been training very hard for the last week or so.

If you feel you could put in a couple of pounds towards this charity challenge I would be very grateful indeed
It is such a heartbreaking condition that many of us are touched by.

You can donate by clicking on the below link:

Well done Sweevo!

Absolutely incredible, not that long ago she was on crutches after a nasty car accident, now doing a 25k walk across London, that's the 'Jenna Stannis' resolve right there!

A very worthwhile charity, the very best of luck to Sally and I hope we can all support her as best we can.

A Thank You From Sally

As a thank you for donating to to Sally Knyvette's 25K walk this weekend, Cygnus Alpha has teamed up with artist extraordinaire Damien May. For the first 100 people who donate 10 or more to Sally, you will receive a limited edition signed print as a thank you.

Please note that it is only one per person!

In order to claim your signed print, all we ask is that you send proof of your donation via email to cygnus_alpha@outlook.com and we will send you a PayPal request to cover the postage. We will be asking for 3.00 and any money left over will be donated. International postage will be 5.00

You will receive your signed print in a few weeks time once Sally has recovered!

What a great idea as incentive for donating to Sally's Alzheimer's cause. I was going to donate as it was, but seeing the offer of a signed print got me to donate immediately. Thank you Ian and Damo for helping Sally to maximize her efforts to stamp out a very bad disease, and I should know- my mom had it and I was her sole caregiver for a few years!

Good luck, Sally and thank you Ian and Damo! We are part of such a great little fandom!

Done. Happy to donate to this one: it is a horrible disease.

I just spoke to Sally today and she was so grateful to all of you who donated. She walked 16 miles and raised 1,700 - isn't that amazing?

If any of you want to tell Sally in person how awesome you think she is, I've arranged for her to be at the one day signing event Sci-Fi Bromley this Saturday 23rd September (2-6pm) being held at The Glades Shopping Centre (free entry), in the centre of the high street area, Bromley, Kent. Stephen Greif will also be there (all day) as well as Nick Joseph, supporting cast from S4. Sounds like a fun day out for anyone who can get there.
