40th Anniversary Location Visit
clareblues1
Howdy all...I'm up for organising a celebratory location visit next year (during the warmer months) as part of the wider 40th anniversary of Blake's 7.

I've yet to work out details, but who would be interested? This could be either a full weekend or just a single day depending on the majority preference.

The Yorkshire locations have come up in informal conversations thus far but I recognise that they may be too far for some to travel to. Of course this venture needn't be restricted to a single event so there's scope for more than one visit.

Thoughts please...
The foolish reject what they see;
the wise reject what they think.

Thanks for organising this, Clare!

I'd definitely sign up for a day trip (probably wouldn't be able to manage a weekend). Preferably London area / Home Counties, if possible?

Yes, I would be able to manage a day over the weekend as well. It looks as though Clare will be organising several trips out! I'm okay for Hants and Dorset even Zummerset if needs be.
Cold.....you don't know the meaning of cold.
Cold is when you have ice on the INSIDE of the window!!!

I'd definitely come along to something, depending on the distance. Thanks Clare!

I also might manage to attend a day over the weekend, depending on distance (transport-less)
THANK YOU CLARE!

I too would be interested. I've not done the Yorkshire locations so they're high on my To do list.

I heard yesterday that it's actually 5778* now. Given that B7 started in 1978, I think we should rename this thread to the "3800th Anniversary Location Visit".

The year is indeed now 5778. Love the idea of this being the 3800th anniversary of B7!

I'm just glad we're around to see it. Thanks for showing me that strange cave in the basement of your base, T!

(and, if the internet is not tricking me into writing the wrong thing, I wish you a gemar chatimah tovah!)

The internet is almost right - 'gemar chatimah tovah' is the traditional greeting for next week's Yom Kippur, but people do start saying it today. Thank you!
