Question re Blake in Trial & Other Questions
BobF
Hi all. Does anyone know what the name of the planet was that Blake goes down to and meets Zil in "Trial"?

Also... When the Liberator is pulled off course in "Dawn of the Gods", what is the name of the planet the ship arrives at?

Thanks.

Hi BobF,

1. I don't think Zil's planet has a name. According to Orac, it's "...a single organism. A planetary life form" and is referred to by Zil as 'the Host'.

2. The planet in 'Dawn of the Gods' is Crandor.

Thanks for the info.

More questions for you... is it terrial or terriel cells?

Is the character Tharn or Thaarn?

The Blakes 7 Programme Guide spells it 'Tarriel', but I've seen other variants.

Is the character Tharn or Thaarn?

Likewise, the Programme Guide spells it 'Thaarn'.

However, I'm not saying that the Programme Guide is 100% correct, and if anyone has access to those scripts, they might provide a more definitive answer.

For your planetary question, the Sevencyclopedia has a "Planets" entry on the "P" page
http://www.hermit...Cyc/P.html
The "Planets" entry has a pointer to "Unnamed Planets". However the planet-like thing in 19.Trial isn't mentioned there since it turns out not to be a planet... It's under "H" for "Host":
http://www.hermit...Cyc/H.html

As for the Dawn of the Gods question, that shows up a weakness in Sevencyclopedia. There isn't an entry for each episode (listing eg what planet featured in that episode), so how would you find out? You'd have to recall something else from the show (eg Thaarn) & see if that entry mentions the planet's name. Turns out in this case, it does.
But if it didn't... you need some sort of episode guide with that info.

In the closing credits of Dawn Of The Gods it's Thaarn

The Liberator doesn't arrive at a Planet in Dawn of the Gods.
