Season D Rewatch - D1 Rescue

Love the background atmosphere of the Base - even before we get to the cave, there's a sort of breathy fx.

There's no point being grown up if you can't be childish sometimes

Cue the creepy basement!
"Blake is sitting up in a tree. Travis is sitting up in another tree. Unless they are planning to throw nuts at one another I don't see much of a fight developing before it get light!" --Avon

Love the ambient sounds in Terminal and Rescue.

Did Blake actually bequeath Orac to Avon? That's a bit of an assumption.

Indeed. Also a bit of an assumption that Ensor bequeathed it to Blake. More like Finder's Keepers.

Or a lie or exaggeration? We didn't see it but did it happen offscreen??

More like theft - there was an agreed sale for Orac to go to Servalan.

Not surprisingly, as it was written by Oscar Wilde.

Soolin actually unwittingly became one of the group when she was thrown in together with them to meet their fates.

And if so, when? Avon is given Orac to take with him in the lifepod in Aftermath, but was that with Blake's consent?

I think you mean the storyline of Dorian etc not the entire episode!!

The premise, the name of the character and the line: 'No good deed goes unpunished'. He wrote good SF, did Oscar!

Soolin replaced the magazine....

While I was bathing....

So Soolin has seen Avon bathing....

I think Avon is simply making up his own reality. This way, he can claim - and believe - that he is the legal owner.
