Seductive Servalan music. Reminds me a bit of her arrival in Project Avalon.

At least he presents the nastiness as a bad thing!

And therein lies my main objection to this ep - its tone, as it seems to present gang rape as a humorous thing.

Servalan isn't amused at all by Grose and Lector.

What is more concerning is Grose claims it was actively encouraged (their brutality!) Of course it shouldn't be a shock that the Federation is a brutal corrupt and immoral regime from the lowliest trooper up to the senior echelons of command

In many ways, this episode takes us back to the very dark universe of "The Way Back". Plus of course, it has parallels with "Space Fall" and "Cygnus Alpha", due to the convicts.

I don't see humour portrayed on this subject matter, Ben at least seems to portray it as a distasteful thing.

I've got to say, I do think the dialogue nips along at a good old pace - 13 mins in. Doesn't feel that long really.
