The dialogue in this ep is SO good - extraordinary to think that ))the same writer was also responsible for 'Animals'

Do you think Animals could have been better if it had been executed better (ie cast) ? There are some good lines and moments in that episode and the concept is not too bad.

It's got potential. It needed a good Chris Boucher rewrite, but I think time was very tight in the opening half of the season.

Yes, and I think it's also like the outer fringes of the Roman Empire.

It was a Cally episode, hastily re-written for Dayna and therefore creepy and weird. Even with a different actor playing Justin, the character would still have been a paedophile.

The mistake was not re-writing it for Soolin. Soolin seems a good few years older than Dayna. Soolin, different Justin, get rid of all the morale objections (Soolin, like Dayna, would have very few).

Travisina 5 points for a Freddo! That's high!

Yeah. I love those little frogs, used to buy the multipacks, but now I save them as occasional treats.

They are nice! I normally have a square of the Lidl's 60% chocolate (big squares) for 2 points or 6 squares of Fin Carre Milk and hazelnuts for 4 points

Yes, I keep a bar of Lindt very dark chilli-flavoured choc in the fridge. One square gives an excellent chocolate hit - the Aztec way!

What's the point score on that?

2 points for a square (they're quite big)

"Star Trek assumes we'll all be liberal with a benign government. I like Blake 7's it contrasts that and its more realistic with how governments are"

Good comment!

She's also been subjected to a lot of Star Trek in the last 6 months. Is it bad I've been showing her TOS season 3? Ohhh The Empath next?
