RIP Mary Tyler Moore (1936-2017)
sweevo
It seems that the curse of 2016 is still in effect. American actress Mary Tyler Moore, known for her inimitable smile and star of her eponymous show, has died at the age of 80.

RIP, Mary. Sad

I've been humming the Dick Van Dyke Show theme all day.
I can remember one of the opening credit sequences so clearly. When he trips over the piece of furniture and recovers beautifully!
I think that show and the Mary Tyler Moore show were some of the mainstays of the early 60's TV.
RIP Mary

RIP MTM. Always loved the MGM-like kitten meowing at the end. (And, although I knew what it was based on, have only just clocked the similarity between 'MTM' and 'MGM' that obviously inspired it.)
