"Is Avon going to take Meegat back with him?"

Oops

That could have been really interesting addition to the crew dynamics. Think of the eye-rolling that would have been done by Jenna & Cally!

They both secretly love Avon, she'd be dead in a week Oops

I think you could be right!

I like the actress playing Meegat. The sincere speech and crazy eyes and she manages to keep a straight face with all of Avon and Vila's quips.

Not to mention her skimpy outfit while all the others are bundled up in furs.

I also notice that the men in furs have their forearms and hands uncovered. They don't need gloves?

"It's an interesting antique" says Avon, looking at the orange 1970s trimphone.

Nah, they're tough. Besides, how else can they handle polystyrene rocks?

I don't think gloves would fit in with the primitive man look...

Ah, it was directed by Michael E. Briant. That's why the direction's so good!

I love the fact that Avon just leaves Meegat on the planet at the end of the episode Grin

Travisina, I agree that Michael E Briant is a very good director. All his episodes are striking. "The Web" isn't necessarily the strongest overall of episodes, but it's big plus point is that its so atmospheric. As for the way he handles "The Way Back", it's just 'wow'!

I think David Maloney handled the location shots in "Deliverance", due to Michael E Briant being ill. But that just meant the episode had two superb directors working on it, rather than one.

I think the original idea was that there was an entire cult in that bunker, but the budget only ran to one.

But, yeah, good luck with the radiation and the murdering savages.
