Rewatch - Australia - Breakdown - 3rd Dec

Just to say again that I disagree with the Liberation book's idea of Gan. His behaviour in this ep is due to the malfunction of the limiter, not that he becomes un-limited. And he's in a lot of pain as well as the scrambling of the neural whatnots in his brain.

Gan's getting some lines for the first time in 20 minutes.

He's tricking Cally.

She's a bit stupid in this ep. She should know better, what with being a guerilla fighter & all that.

It's not her finest episode. I can accept a warrior code including other things than fighting, such as looking after people, but she shouldn't be that gullible.

I love this ep - so much going on, great character interactions and dialogue (apart from Gan...). It's been ages since I last watched it - must have missed the last couple of rewatches.

Love that exchange between Avon and Blake.

It's very Liberator based isn't it? And those, quite often, make good episodes.

Just read it. Nice story - same length as the fanfic challenge stories.

Jenna's put on her join-the-dots top.

And someone has actually noticed she's a pretty lady. Only took 10 episodes, or do we count Raiker?

Thank you!
Wrote it many, many years ago. In the pre-internet age we had an informal writing group at Horizon's NorthWest branch. We each drew character names out of a hat and had to write about that person. I got 'Gan', and just like this ep, it turned into a Blake/Avon story instead. Poor Gan!

Interesting that we learn that Blake and his crew are 'celebrities' and that people know of the likes of 'Stannis' by their individual names.

We don't count Raiker.

I love all the Libby sets - we get to see lots more rooms, corridors, screens etc - even the gun rack on the flight deck, which doesn't feature very often.
