Weird impossible formula.
and poor Dr Bellfriar!
He should be saved and return in another episode!

Did you notice Sally hitting nothing on her console. She taps at the top but there is nothing there but a screen. And don't say it was a touch screen.... -P

In All Creatures Great and Small Ron Lacey played an old fried of Siegfried and got him hopelessly drunk when he was just applying for a posh job at the turf ... here he is trying to double-cross Avon ... beware old frieds!

Now you have me intrigued. I loved All Creatures but cannot remember that episode. Ron Lacey was an excellent actor. Loved him as the Nazi in Indiana Jones, Raiders of the Lost Arc. -P

He was in the very first episode of Randall & Hopkirk (Deceased) in 1969 - my absolute favourite programme at the time!

What! Better than Blake's 7??!! Surely not!!

In 1969 it was!

They could just teleport down in protective clothing, get Bellfriars formula, let the Feds land and infect themselves ... and then blackmail them ...

Yes, one of the rare sympathetic characters in the series. It was a terrible loss. -P

Now tell me if it is Avon's true opinion, or is he busy triggering Blake?
We'll never know.
Fact is that the interpretation by Mr Darrow often seem to differ from Terry Nation's and other writer's view on the character.

I have great admiration for the actors for their performance in such risky, noisy costumes!
