Space Spectacular Concert
Ellen York
I've bought a ticket too (and I think I got in the same row as all the other mad sads Smile )

Mistletoe12
I have to actually remember where I decided to store the tickets all those months ago! Drawer searches will be on the schedule as we approach June. Wink

But looking forward to the concert and it'll be great to see you there, Ellen!

Blimey, have we booked the whole Hall!

Excellent stuff.

They had better play some Dudley Simpson now. Angry

Well as usual, I'm having to forgo some of my plans in the UK and omit going to the Space Spectacular thanks to work.

So that's bad news for me and great news for someone else. If you will be in attendance at the Blake event(for which I would have to be held at gun point to miss), and would like to go, then first in best dressed get's my ticket.

You can't complain about a freebie right? Smile

Mistletoe12
@ Spaceresearcher: I'm sorry to hear you won't be able to make it to the Space Spectacular.

Thanks Mistletoe12, how does that saying go: 'Life's what happens when your making plans.'

Howdy all...well it's coming around to planning for a pre-concert nosh up and Scott has very kindly furnished me with details of a couple of decent pubs in the area....

The Gloucester Arms http://www.taylor...0626/menu/

The Queens Arms https://www.thequ...co.uk/food

Looking at the two menus I would favour the Gloucester Arms...but what do the rest of you think?

btw can we just do a roll call of who's coming (shout if I've missed anyone - brain not in gear just at the moment due to a host of RL stuff that I won't bore you with...)

btw would whoever is meeting with Brad and Paula when they arrive please point them in the direction of this thread please! Ta!

Having looked at the menus, I too favour the Gloucester Arms. Seems to have more choice, especially for vege- and pesca-tarians!

Thank you for organising this! Count me in for the pre-concert lunch! I'd also prefer the Gloucester Arms.

Are there crisps? They count as food, right! LOL.

The Gloucester Arms has my vote too. The camembert and beetroot pie looks delicious.

BradPaula
Thank you Clare for organizing the pre-concert lunch. We will be happy with any choice. See you there.

Righty'o...Gloucester Arms it is then Smile

BTW I've been in contact with the Royal Albert Hall to ask if they have any security restrictions in place following the recent attacks and we are advised NOT to bring any large bags to the concert and to arrive early as there may be queuing.

This will most likely include rucksacks and the like. Please bear this in mind folks
