Just wanted everyone to know about this terrific new series and start a forum chat for it.

As a Blakes 7 fan, I totally enjoyed this series and found it got better and better with each episode. There's a strong Blakes 7 vibe in this series but it is a totally new look at humanity in space. It's also not as advanced as Blakes 7 (the series takes place in the solar system only(well as far as I know so far) and humanity is not interstellar like in Blakes 7)).

There's a lot of dark undercurrents, mystery and intrigue. Highly recommended and I'm not going to give anything away other than it's a great science fiction series set in space amongst the solar system.

Here's the author/creator's website: http://www.jamess...

Look forward to chatting about this series with fellow fans.

Always annoying when corporate giants or governments try to block viewing in some regions. Especially for a TV show. Isn't more publicity better than less? I'll never understand the people in the top 5% of wealth in this world.

Try this out: https://www.youtu...he+expanse

Hope you enjoy.

Great to hear. I've only seen the first TV series but I have my eyes on the books now at 'The Book Depository'. I'm keen to read them. They will take a back seat to a long awaited English translation of Yoshiki Tanaka's 'Legend Of The Galactic Heroes'(Also known as Heldensagen Vom Kosmosinsel.) Finally in English print thanks to Daniel Huddleston. Just reading Book 2 now and it's a really enjoyable read.
Looking forward to the novels that inspired 'The Expanse' though.

I'll be grabbing the Bluray's of The Expanse when there available in UK/Australia region to support the show.

I've read all the books and novellas, and watch season 1 of the TV show. Looking forward to season 2. It's a real space opera, with some interesting twists thrown in.

Awesome. How have you found the TV adaptation in comparison to the novels? Is the TV series doing justice to the novels and providing a faithful recreation?
