Blakes 7 Australian DVD Reissue.
John Johnson
I don't know if this has been mentioned, the DVDs have been reissued in Australia.

That's great John, thanks!

I'd seen a listing months ago but I couldn't find any decent cover pictures for them. I think I like the "space cloud" more than the previous blue/brown/grey boxes with lines and circles on them.

According the dvdland, the cases are Amray and not the Digipaks.

President Solvite
Ahh that's good news for our friends 'down under'

good covers, although the cropping of the crew photos is a bit unfortunate

like the spaceships!

Gauda Cheese
I wish they said series A, B, C & D and also that D had the other logo.

So are all the typos, but at least they're restricted to the listings and not the slicks.

The most important aspect is: Do they have all the features, that the original deluxe sets had?

Still from JB-HiFi when they have there 20% off sales, they pose a rather nice bargain. The price for all 4 seasons is what I paid for each originally.

Technically they should also play in the UK as most Region 2 and Region 4 discs are compatible(we both use the PAL standard) with most players but don't hold me to that. You may need to region free code your player first.

Neil C
DVD Region 2 + 4 will not play happily together, even though they are both PAL format. Will require a region free device/hack. Blu-ray region B, covers both Aus and GB.

Another reason why Blakes 7 on Bluray would be a good thing. Wink

Oh and will a Bluray player not play all DVD regions anyway?
