Sci-fi event- 20 May 2017
clareblues1
Just a heads up for something I've got on the boil for next year.

I am in the process of organising a sci-fi event in my home town of Rugby on Saturday 20 May. This will a general event rather than Blake's 7 specific.

That said I couldn't possibly exclude it and I have been fortunate enough receive the acceptance of Michael Keating to attend.

More details will follow over the coming months.

They couldn't all be schedules within two weeks of each other?

Didn't think so...

And the 40th anniversary isn't until the following year. It's going to be a tough decision on which one I come over for, sigh Sad

Update...I have been successful in obtaining two more guests...David J Howe and Sam Stone. Both are involved in the sci-fi publishing business and have consented to participate in a talk as well as a writers workshop.

David is known for a number of Dr Who related titles and Sam is an accomplished, award winning writer.

Congratulations on the latest guests, Clare! And a writers workshop sounds great! Grin

Sounds intriguing. I'm not sure which I'll be attending (if at all - money and personal issues). I'll try to make it to at least one.

We met David and Sam at TARDIS con a few years ago and they are very good guests and quite fascinating to talk with. Good choice, Clare!

Fantastic News! Grin

Katy Manning is a great con guest. Last time she attended TARDIS con near us, she hugged everyone she met. Amazing getting a hug from Jo Grant (Del's daffy sister).
