You know, you could just have the makings of a great song there.

Been done.

I still can't work out to send links on this forum, but if anyone wants to look at my twitter account I've been sent a photo of the train poster and you can view it there! Dead chuffed!

Perhaps Travisina can manage to put up a link, as she kindly managed to do so last time?

Here's the simple way of doing it, just highlight the link and click on the symbol of the earth with an arrow going round it: https://twitter.c...

Nearly!
When you highlight it and click on the globe, it will look like this but without the spaces between the square bracket bits and the web address:

Not sure if this worked again (I do apologise if not).

Richard Bailey has just donated a replica Baby Orac to a special raffle we're now running at the Show in aid of the Cat Welfare Trust, which is the GCCF's own charity. Raffle ticket price 2. The winner will be drawn on the day.

Oh for an operational teleport, that would save a lot of journey time. A time machine would be even better.

Down and safe: utterly exhausted. Great day ... weirdly surreal, but enormous fun with everyone. Time for soup and bed.

A good event...lovely to meet up with Travisina, Mistletoe and AnnieW. We watched Paul judging cats, which was quite amusing! Managed to have a little chat with Michael.

Yet another chime in for hoping & waiting for reports & pix from those lucky enough - and energetic enough, it sounds like! - to be able to go.
and THANKS in advance for them!

Hi All

It was so wonderful to meet everyone I did, thank you for introducing yourselves. It's brilliant to put names to faces, thought the day went by in a kind of blur. I thought Paul was amazing. He judged the cats as if he'd been doing it forever. The long white haired cat he introduced as "Mr Bond" went on to win Supreme Pedigree Pet at the show - which shows just how well he did. I did manage to sneak picture of the real Kneazle with Paul, Michele one of his stewards took it for me, but it's somewhat blurred and I still can't figure out how to share it. It's on the FB Blake's 7 page, but I can post it to twitter if Travisina could pick it up for me?

Paul has also very kindly agreed to let me do a remake of the very small mini books I made of his books (my other hobby is making miniatures I have a 1:12 scale Victorian book shop). These books books are 3.5 cm tall and are fully legible containing extracts from the books concerned. I had promised him they would never be for sale as he owns the copyright, and they won't be, but I have been very generously allowed to make up ONE set of six which will be up for auction at Blake next June. I made the first three his B7 trilogy as a curio for him, but he loved them so much I then had to find his other three books.

I also went to the gala dinner on Friday and was hugely delighted to have Michael Keating as a dinner companion. Wow. Such a charming, lovely man, and so funny too. I loved his stories of orienteering, managing to get his family lost in Europe by hiking through the wrong country, and of his rambles back in the UK.

Peter Purves, John Leeson and Colin Baker were also stars. It was hard work but a truly brilliant day.

Kneazle aka Georgina

Now just need to figure out how to share my photos!
