Travis Gun
Space Commander Travis
This is a replica's of Travis' gun I believe that was made by the talented Martin Bower, but where exactly does it appear I the series ? It certainly doesn't resemble anything I saw on screen.

Guns like that were certainly used in the series; they seemed to be the officer's pistol version of the rifles used by ordinary troopers. I believe Tarrant has one in "Aftermath" for example.

I don't recall Travis using a gun like that. He had a lazeron destroyer built into his artificial hand so generally didn't need weapons. I recall him using a trooper rifle to convince Servalan to organise a few things for him in "Trial". He also had a very flat black gun in one episode, possibly "Gambit".

That's interesting. This is quoted from Martin's website along with the image.

"Travis's pistol. Travis's pistol was a one off. It was a smaller version of the Federation gun and built the same way. This photo shows 2 copies I made for fans of the show. I don't have photos of the original"

I certainly don't recall Travis using this style of gun.

Or "Seek-Locate-Destroy", even!

I'm half way through series 3 and I've yet to see this style of gun appear. It certainly wasn't used by Travis as Martin Bower indicates on his site, which is odd, and thus far not by anyone else either.
