Missing episodes, you wish had been made!?

I'd love a story explaining the catering arrangements on board the Liberator. Does is have a canteen or machines that create steaming hot dinners like in Star Trek?

I tool would love that (& many other "Life on Liberator" things) but am not surprised that, at the time, the makers decided not to try to imagine / portray that. It would be hard to "get it right" or possibly even plausible! (not only conceptually, but on their 29p budget!)

IMHO they did pretty well to portray a future with talking computers, & lots of hand-held wireless computing devices!

What was 29p in old money... about 6 shillings? That's quite a lot of money when a bus ride was tuppence. Tuppeny Bus Ride

To be fair to the production team, they did wonders with the paltry budget they were given. The budget did go up a little for the latter series and it shows on screen.

You've got to wonder where all the drinks etc came from in Deathwatch. Vila must be responsible, but where did it come from? Did he dial it all up, or pull it from the unseen, unmentioned liquor room (between the clothing store and the strongroom), or does he just have one of those giant world globes in his cabin that opens up to reveal it's a fully-laden drinks trolley?

That brings back so many memories! I loved going to Bournemouth on one of those Trolley Buses. And they did have to unhitch the poles and transfer them over.
Now I want one of those little buses in my garden!
Yes 29p was 6 Shillings.
I can recall getting on the bus and paying a shilling for a ride to the Town Junction in Southampton. Then we went over to metric....the next day we all handed over our shillings, which was 5p then, only to be told that the fare was now 10p...they had doubled the price overnight!!!

Strangely enough, one of those globes was up for auction last week at our local auction house. I have no idea how much it went for or...who bought it.

dissentliveson
An episode set on Earth after the Intergalactic War and about the revolt there that failed. Show the factions arguing, trying to decide on a leader and course without expected leadership from Blake, dome cities barricaded by starved citizens without power or electricity and there drugs wearing off, strafed by gunships. Show the battered remains of the Federation fleet limping back to Space Command Headquarters and Servalan arriving from the Chengan hospital ship to rally her forces while the resistance attacks Central Security. Show a scene of Shrinker bribing a resistance group to take him on and let him interrogate Federation personnel. Show Servalan flipping as the Inner and Outer Worlds declare independence and she realizes she only has one big grey ugly battleship she uses all Series 3 and a few Pursuit Ships and screaming as Durkim and Dastor and Deral and Mori. Then show the Central Security attack get defeated while they execute intelligence officers and then Servalan decide at the end she needs to get the Liberator at all costs but hope she can seduce Avon into going along later.

Angry Angel
That would be good, I'd love to see all those elements together that we get to hear about in bits and pieces in other episodes.
