Filming Locations
Please forgive my ignorance if i have overlooked this somewhere, but there again, i am a very new 'space rat' to this site! I'm always interested in film set locations. Is there an official list somewhere, of the various outdoor and out of studio locations used in B7? No doubt, a few quarries will exist amongst them!

Hi AG. If you go into Google and type in Bakes7 filming locations, you will be taken to the excellent Hermit site and a list of all those used. The Blakes7 sevencyclopedia ( you've a question, you'll find something in it here) is aLso located there , as are the fan transcribed scripts for episodes, articles, fan fiction. It is a lovely and joyous place to visit.

Welcome to Horizon, also a lovely and joyous place to hang out!
Just because I can't sing doesn't mean I won't.
Hello AvonGreen and welcome to Horizon. Many of our members do what we call 'Location Visits' periodically, and that consists of a number of friends visiting as it says, where Blake's 7 has filmed. One famous site is the Oldbury Power plant near Bristol, which was used in not only Killer, but Time Squad and other episodes of Blake's 7- and Doctor Who and other productions. If you check out some of the threads here you will see the various get-togethers and photos from the visits.

Over our many visits to the UK (we're Americans) we have been lucky to have participated in many location visits like Bamburgh Beach (Aftermath) and of course Oldbury, Avebury (Children of the Stones) to Pyrton hall (Terminal) and many other places. It's always fun and a popular event, so if you can attend one of our location visits, all the better. Cheers.

Note: Here are a few examples of a location visit to Quex Park in Kent, and Winspit Quarry. There are others so please check the Fan Activity thread on the Forum listing. Be sure to check out the fan-made video of the Winspit Quarry visit. it's amazing.

And Wookey Hole...although the young lady taking us around didn't mention B7 once...just some programme called Dr Who.
Needless to say, after our little visit...she knew all about B7 Grin
Cold.....you don't know the meaning of cold.
