Envy, envy, envy! Wish I could have joined you! Lovely photos everyone.

Re Mistletoe's favourite tree - does anyone else remember the Mony Python show which had the recurring announcement "And now the Larch. the larch", apropos of nothing much. For some reason it was hilarious.
Just because I can't sing doesn't mean I won't.

THANKS for posting your pix & writeups - very pleasant reading (for those of us unable to go).
NICE!

It was a fab day - thanks to everyone for the reports and photos, and to Hugbot additionally for the entertaining captions! Huge thanks again to Clare for being our horticulture expert and sharing her knowledge.

Knowing that I was in the company of superior photographers, I didn't take any proper pics, but I did manage to catch a couple of creatures that joined us for lunch...

Lunch, incidentally, was made all the more memorable because as I sat down on the grass, my knee went into a large goose turd - yep, the colour of Blake's boots! - and thus well camouflaged in the grass.

I didn't attempt the tree top walk 'cos I can't do heights, but respect to those who did, and thanks for the pics of what I would probably have missed anyway, because I'd have kept my eyes closed...
