They definitely should have let Dayna kill Servalan. It should have been worked into the script for Warlord.

Not much for Cally to do in this except look good in red

It's not really her episode, but she does refer to her fighting instinct and she does use telepathy.

It's got some good character moments for her and some good lines, even if she doesn't do very much.

Oooh, that shot from above.

The whole sequence - shot on film, using a hand held camera for some of the shots, the crane shot etc - this was an expensive shoot (pun unintended) but what a fab result..

It's marvellous.

Believe it or not, but I'm sure one of the Andrew Pixley guides described this as a "budget episode". It looks anything but, but that's down to the director and his team. If you think about it, the location was close to Television Centre Wink

Paul's reaction to that hand shake Grin Grin Grin

And well-judged comedy ending... brilliant episode!! One of the best. CB's Colin output is incredible... City, Rumours and this.

True. And there was no special make up, alien puppets or exploding ships/planets, all of which rack up the price. Even the first set was re-used for the second duel.

It's the final episode with Servie in. She should end up dead, and the best way to do it is in Dayna's hands.

Ah, now that was scripted, along with tongue-in-cheek comment about it in the script from CB. David Maloney could trust his script editor in saving the money wherever possible Wink

Just as David Maloney made sure he got to Terry Nation's 'movie' scripts first and made amendments before anyone from design could see them Grin Grin Grin

Oh, I see. I thought you meant Dayna should have killed her in this one, and I was wondering, yeah but what about Terminal + Season D? I need more coffee...

Yep, the three very best (or certainly my faves) of Season C were all written by Chris.

Thanks everyone for a fun rewatch of a great episode. Terminal next week, even the episode title sounds depressing Wink

That's the one where Nyssa stays behind to spend the rest of her life synthesizing caromac, isn't it?
