Thank you. I enjoyed the read. Always good to have more B7 fic around.
Just because I can't sing doesn't mean I won't.

I spent a happy hour yesterday morning reading Doppelganger. Well, what can I say? I was blown away by the ideas in the story and the quality of the writing. Lurena's excellent illustrations were the icing on the cake. I really think they should commission you two for Blake's 7 novels, they would be so much better! Highly recommended...

I'm not sure if Sue/Lurena saw my comments, but just in case they didn't I'm quoting myself!

Oh thank you Meegat. We're just putting the finishing touches to the next one...and then a request by Silver Alaunt on Saturday.
Once I've done the Comicon report I will start thinking of a story for Silver and as she and I and Lurena (and Moon Disk) are all Avon Ladies.....Grin

Cold is when you have ice on the INSIDE of the window!!!

Oh *blush*, thank you for your lovely comment Meegat!
Sue and I seem to arouse each other's creativity and complement each other in story writing. This is a rare and wonderful co-operation I am grateful for.

New on our site!
In response to a request at Bournemouth Comicon from Silver Alaunt, for a romantic story from B7 that doesn’t end in complete sadness, here is Littlesue’s answer (story and plot all hers)with my pictures of a stranger who literally falls into a young woman’s life on a remote planet where both are now stranded. He can’t remember who he is...but he does know about computers!”
Enjoy!

I'm looking forward to reading this very much. Hopefully in a while with a cuppa and a fruity scone to hand. Grin

EDIT:

I read the story today -

Sue and Lurena: Stranded has lovely visual descriptions and beautiful illustrations. Your story had a classic feel about it, taking me straight back to those days when I indulged in all the B7 zines, thrilled to find a long story I could sink my teeth into whilst stretched out on a couch.

I miss zines ... but I'm glad you wrote/illustrated Stranded. And thanks to Silver for suggesting a story which "doesn't end in complete sadness."

Now I feel all nostalgic.

"I presume that entails a great deal of physical exertion?" Funny! Oh, yes, a cool weapon every time, rather than an axe! I'm with 'a certain computer expert' on this!

Thank you for your kind comments. Silver is away this weekend so hasn't seen the finished product!
Strangely enough, I had just started to write it when I decided to ask Silver what she thought her heroine should look like...she came back that day and she said thet Ginevra had red hair tied back...exactly as I had envisged her!
There was another scene that Lurena and I considered, but mindful of Uncle Vere (a very old fashioned gent, by the way), we managed to tear our thoughts away from it.....we got as far as a certain rather nice computer expert standing by the river...otherwise I think both our computers would have steamed up!!!!!! Grin

I am with you in that a physical bundle of stories is hugely enjoyable.
I hope Silver will be happy with the story too.
(Also, she is the first one to have a coloured illustration to go with a story)

Jean Graham is an expert B7 Fanfic writer - her grim stories are some of my favorites! but she also writes other more
drama-oriented & even lighthearted B7 fanfic.

Her B7 fic site is newly moved to a differernt provider & spiffed up:
http://jeangraham.20m.com/b7/blakes7.htm
http://jeangraham...lakes7.htm

"Reprisals" is recommended, if you like deeply grim B7 fanfic, as it "Next On My List".
But really most of them are good. WARNING: "Mirage" is soooooo surreal!!!

ENJOY & pass on the URL to whoever might like to read some of Jean Graham's excellent B7 fanfic!

Fantastic, Winnie. Thanks for pointing this out.

Do you know is Jean's health has improved at all? (If it's not breaking any confidences to say.)
