The flashbacks are surreal.... are they real or implants into Avon's brain?

Ooh, interesting idea - I'd never thought of that before. (Ficlet brain begins to engage...)

Chesku: "But you're my wife."
Sula: "That's all over now."

Is it me, or is that an odd reply? Shouldn't she have said, "It was all a pretence, it was necessary for the rebellion, I never loved you" or something? Her line sounds like a teenage break-up.

Did Chesku know something of his wife's background?

Which bit of his wife's background? Her real name? Her Bartolomew identity? Her association with Avon? Her rebel tendencies?

Hey Della I wonder if Sula and Anna Grant are the same person Oops

I suffer from mild Prosopagnosia - face dyslexia - which means I often can't recognise faces out of context. Because of their different hair and make up, I didn't realise first time round that Anna was Sula.

Della doesn't have that issue.

I don't remember if I noticed or not my first time I was about 9.

Avon do that cave painting or Vila?

Vila said he set it all up, so it must have been him. Or maybe they both commissioned Cally to do it - we know that she can draw.

Avon asked Cally to draw the picture of his ex-girlfriend... what a rotter Shock

I think it was possible that my attention circuits had melted but I'm glad I'm not the only one.

I don't have a clue of whether I did or not at the age of 6 or 8. To be honest, this wasn't a favourite as a kid, that was nothing to hook onto. I much preferred Sarcophagus, Ultraworld, Death-Watch and Terminal.

It's possible he's not a huge sadist, it's just considered 'a job' in the Federation.

Funnily enough I thought this one was boring as a kid compared to others. Though I've always loved Sarcophagus.

I'm not sure I buy that. He seemed to be enjoying himself before Dayna and Tarrant showed up

Sarcophagus is a fantastic episode to watch as a kid.

Sarcophagus is my third favourite episode!

Rumours is now my number 1 and has been for a very long time now.

Sula/Anna and Servie certainly know each other. That's one hell of an interesting back story behind this...

trevor travis
I chucked away the notebook, but I'm sure I made this list at some point in the 1980s. Favourite episodes (not in any order):

Sarcophagus
Ultraworld
Terminal
Headhunter (that was my favourite)
Orbit

trevor travis
Anna/Sula is very much in the Servie mould, if a little less glamorous.

Headhunter is great. I think most of my top 10 are from C and D
