7:00pm Australian Daylight Saving Time

10.00am in the UK (Greenwich Mean Time)?? Is that okay?

Don't ask me the time yet okay?! Australia goes through daylight savings tomorrow, setting time back an hour so my brain is all melty and I'm tipsy AND I'm watching City At the Edge Of The World.

All I know is this; wear black Oops

Next Saturday is Cygnus Alpha Convention, so I won't be rewatching (nor, I suspect, will Meegat and Trevor). See you the week after for 'Rumours' (my second fave episode).

Oh blimey, that is next weekend, isn't it? Time flies. GC and Della, please feel free to watch in our absence; or we can join in the following weekend if you prefer.

I agree with both the time adjustments and the fact most of us on this side of the pond will be absent next week! PS thanks for the rewatch all this week Grin

Okay I am bored waiting for a system to upgrade.

Here in the UK, Auron was first broadcast on 19th Jan 1980, bumped to a Tuesday from B7's usual Monday slot (which would have been the 18th). Presumably due to extended Olympic Grandstand. Schedule here

http://genome.ch....9#at-19.20

Somehow, B7 seems a proper Monday night program, do you think. Gritty, fun and slightly depressing.

I was keeping a diary in 1980 and have just returned from a very chilly attic to retrieve it. The entry for 19th Feb mentions cycling to uncle John's house, but does not mention Blakes 7. On most Mondays, I watched the Kenny Everett Video Show. Not sure if they clashed.

Yup, it was the fault of Robin Couzens going for the gold that bumped B7 from Monday to Tuesday if I recall correctly.

I definitely watched B7 every week in 1980. I was hooked by "Aftermath" (the first episode I ever saw) and that was it. Monday nights at that time of year were no problem.

The Autumn through to Christmas scheduling of Season D was far more problematic for me - later on, my uncle had a video recorder (way before we did) and it meant I didn't miss things like Doctor Who: Caves Of Androzani episode 4 (Peter Davison's final episode). But in 1981, no-one in the family had a video recorder and I missed Power (in its entirety) and Blake (the first half - damn over-running school Christmas Carol concert).

Dragon32
Trevor travis had access to a video recorder in 1980. Or rather, his uncle. Respect!

This rewatch schedule is my first viewing of most episodes. Kenny Everetts's fault.

But it was all done in the very best possible taste.

Just like Volcano, Servie's right hand man isn't fully convincing. Genka though is fantastic.
