Edward Brayslaw.

Also in The Reign Of Terror.

And later in the kid's TV programme Rentaghost.

That scientist said "Time Lord"!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

It's when you watch the episodes in the right order, like we have, that you realise what a big deal that is.

The Doctor's origins are finally being revealed.

Yep. I believe it was Derrick Sherwin's idea. Along with UNIT. Kudos to him.

Derrick Sherwin I do like his ideas (most of them anyway) for what makes good Dr Who

I think Season 7 was largely down to him, although Peter Bryant had an input too. And that's a great season - looking forward to that.

Edward Brayslaw would have been a very sinister Master.

Charismatic enough to pull the role off too.

JNT should have cast him in 1981, rather than Ainley. People would have forgotten about the War Chief by then, and it was the days before video. They could have done it.

Yes. Grin

The delight is having 10 episodes is that there's plenty of time to develop everyone, including the bad guys. The War Chief and Security Chief are wonderful characters, and there's the whole clash between them.

Funnily enough did everyone forget Madoc? Yet they kept bringing him in for new roles.
