The Hound is a great character! He's never really a villain imo; an antagonist because of the viewpoint we share in the early series, but that's not always the same thing.
Reversing the polarity of the neutron flow. I bet that means something. It sounds great.

Charles Dance and Peter Dinklage together. We didn't get enough of that.

Two amazing actors. We feel entirely the same way.

Like many characters in GoT, he's multi-layered and neither all-bad nor all-good. He does things for his own reasons. I ended up becoming quite fond of him.

Hopefully a film producer out there feels the same and might cast them together in something else!

What I said, only you phrased it better (it's been a long week...)

Shae is almost my least favourite character...

Unusually (for the books) we never get a chapter from her point of view, so we never get inside her head. We 'learn' her character entirely from Tyrion's POV.

Me too. How she betrays Tyrion in the end. I hadn't seen that coming.

These scene in the forest where Jon bonds with his fellow watchers is one of my favourite moments from series one, especially when they repeat the oath in unison.

I did, but only because I hated her already and expected no better.

Me neither. I was gutted. That particular book has so many betrayals and twists and deaths that I was completely wrung out by the end. But Shae... no, I hadn't seen that coming. The last thing she says to him before Joffrey's wedding was "My giant of Lannister, I love you so much."

And the thing is, Tyrion really loved her. It's so complex - having been told by his brother that his first childhood love had been a paid whore, he then seeks loves with others of her ilk. Except that Tysha HADN'T been a whore - but Shae was.

Julian Glover is excellent.

I saw him interviewed on a convention panel once, but it was my first Dr Who con over ten years ago so I don't really remember it much!

I'd have to say so too, after Tyrion and his henchman.
