Drew Henley, RIP
Joe Dredd
Red Leader in the original Star Wars, but also the former husband of both Jacqueline Pearce and Felicity Kendall.

Not much fanfare in this private announcement: Click.

How interesting Joe. Wow he certainly attracted strong women. Rather a sad life I imagine. Thanks for the post - it's a face I dimly recall and seem to remember I liked but I had no memory of the actor in a specific role or show.
Just because I can't sing doesn't mean I won't.
Drewe was a very good friend to the group of charity fundraisers I belong to, The Exewing Fundraisers, I got to know him quite well for a few years, he only lived a few miles away from us, in recent years contact had faded and I wasn't aware of his recent passing until last night.

A lovely, generous, loyal, enthusiastic soul.

He was our very first guest and remained a firm friend and supporter for many years, despite his depression he and his lovely wife Lyn enjoyed life to the full in beautiful surroundings.

I spoke to Jacqueline Pearce at an event and she said she had visited Drewe and Lyn at their Bed & Breakfast fairly recently and she said had a lovely time, I am so glad she was able to do this.

Sadly Lyn also passed away in late September last year, which I only found out about last night, hopefully they are re-united somewhere and are planning wonderful dramatical productions together once more.

May they both Rest in Peace.

- Andy
