Original scripts, schedules, floor plans, artwork

Thanks for all your kind thoughts and private messages. One message said that the floor plans averaged about 100 each. As it was a private message I will respect the confidentiality of the name. They said nothing about the scripts. It was also suggested that I kept the lot together. But I would not have expected anyone to have afforded to buy the lot even at a substantially lower valuation. I will say in response to another private message that I do NOT really want them to go to a dealer. But I am not sure the safest way to sell them outside ebay (not that that is always 100 percent safe). And I am prepared to avoid ebay if possible. What is this museum people keep mentioning? Is that part of this group itself? Thanks.

This B7 Museum is something we can only dream of; a safe place to store everything B7 fans are rescueing.
Gary is the owner of so many of the original costumes and he happily brings them to various conventions etc. I first had a chance to not only see, but touch these costumes at Smallspace (hosted by Mr Mat Irvine) in Hanslope a couple of years ago. (PC and I even persuaded a rather slim chap to try some of them on...and we halped him in every way we could!!!!)
Andy and Phil have props, models etc and I've got my own rather small collection of zines, magazines, cuttings photos etc from the 80s.
I'm wondering if the V and A Museum would gladly take care of your collection and then we could pop up and see the collection as and when.
Cold.....you don't know the meaning of cold.
Cold is when you have ice on the INSIDE of the window!!!

Hi Howard, the small drawing is from Dawn of the Gods episode, design for the scare-car. I'm a Blakes 7 and Dr who person myself, more classic who tho. just picked up a pair of Bannerman shades!

Thanks for all the interest, I really did not expect it.

Thanks for bringing us all this amazing material!

We won't hold that against you, we all like Doctor Who too!

Perhaps we can work these out for Howard before he returns.

This is definitely the slave-chasing machine from "Dawn of the Gods".

Howard's drawings and blueprints seem to be a lot from series 3.

The semi-circular area at top right of this photo reminds me of the recliner/lounge area Vila and Cally end up in on the Chengan ship. Any other theories?

This looks like some Liberator corridor detail from "Aftermath".

This is something to do with the exterior of the Liberator, from "Aftermath". I don't recognise it and the only hull shots of the Liberator I can think of were when Klegg & co pull up in their yellow spaceship.

Any ideas?

This is the floorplan from "Volcano" (so still series 3).

This looks cool.

Is the big writing on the covers the studio location? I'm guessing EAL 3B (bottom-ish right) is a stage at Ealing Studios and TC6 etc are at Television Centre.

I'm sure this is from "Children of Auron".

Liberator cabin detail - for "Powerplay" perhaps? That had cabins as well as corridors. Otherwise it reminds me of something like the medical facilities in "Breakdown".

Someone nice didn't have a picture handy, so did a couple of screen grabs. Apologies for the poor quality. (*waves back at JD)

Dawn of the Gods?

That would make sense, if it came with the plans for the slave chasing thing.

Yes... the top line seems to say "Blake's 7 Series C Ep 1" but I could be wrong about the "Ep 1". (I'm using world-renowned squint-o-vision (TM) and it's not the best way to look at things. Oh for a long range intensifier!)

The handwritten box to the left of the checkbox thing at bottom right says "Underside of the Liberator - once only".

The construction notes refer to a trap door, so I think you two have got it. The only other trap door I can think of is when Avon hides under the Liberator decking but that's not such a good match.

(Thanks for posting the photos Travisina!)

I think this is the life capsule bay we see at the start of the episode.

Especially as it says "Corridor Launch section" in big letters just to the left of that checkbox thing at bottom right ..er, top left!

Okay, I am uploading a lot more photos. You wanted more details, but there isnt a lot written on all of them. Well, it is not consistent. It seems most of the floor plans are from Powerplay
Most say POWERPLAY
Some say POWERPLAY EPISODE 1
some say SEREIS C
SOME SAY SERIES C FILM
one says SERIES C LOCATION
There is one that says VOLCANO
No writing on that one with the mask that you said was a slave catcher.
Have put all the artwork and odd sheets on there

Scripts/Schedules now:
STAR ONE filming schedule
VOICE FROM THE PAST/GAMBIT filming schedule (this is one document)
STAR ONE recording order
VOLCANO recording order
VOICE FROM THE PAST full script
VOLCANO full script
POWERPLAY full script
STAR ONE full script
POWERPLAY recording order
VOLCANO recording order

Whilst I have done my best to describe, I cannot guarantee that this is completely accurate, and that all items are complete. This has just been based on what I can read. There are several large bundles here, some have printed page numbers that differ from written page numbers, etc.
