Have a wonderful time tomorrow! If you think of it, we'd love someone to say 'hi' to Steven for us! We really wanted to see him in this play but we just could not work it into our schedule. And don't forget to get photos for those of us who could not attend. Cheers!

Hugbot
Enjoy the show (waiting in excitement for a Volpone style scene - ? Pfft) and the company of Mr P.!

I'm curious to read all about it!
And I'm a bit envious, of course, I'd loved to join you, but teleport is out of order and my bank fraude went wrong.
I'm sure Steven will entertain you perfectly and I hope you get to meet him when work is done.

Just back and fed after an excellent day out. Had a very nice lunch with Clare, Carol and Richard, then went and enjoyed the play. It's very cleverly staged, with te scenes moving swiftly from one to another, very much in keeping with the theme of travel. The singing and dancing were excellent (Steven didn't try much dancing, but of course his singing was great), it was set in the 60s and it had the feel of musicals from that era, and had a lot of humour.

Afterwards we said hello to Steven - Clare had organised a card for his birthday tomorrow - and we had a quick drink with him before he left to see his family and prepare for the evening performance.

Thanks for organising it clare, and it was great to see you all.

Indeed a superb performance from all round. Really enjoyed the day out. I believe a great day was had by all

Chichester Minerva Theatre despite being on the smaller side does facilitate a good view of the production no matter where you sit and even from some way back the audience can feel 'part' of the play.

Down and safe at 9pm Smile A really good day if tiring...lovely lunch at the George and Dragon followed by an excellent performance and a very pleasant chat over coffee with Mr P Grin

Great to have the company of Richard, the Solvites and Astrogirl. Unfortunately Ann wasn't able to come along...hope you managed to give your ticket to someone!

Sound like you had an ok journey back Clare, and you weren't thwarted by the dreaded 'Sussex' driver Pfft

I am gutted I missed this, not the least because I could have got to know some of you better, but I am very glad you all had a nice time.
Just because I can't sing doesn't mean I won't.

Angry Angel
I'm really sorry you couldn't make it Annie, I was looking forward to getting to know you better, too!
