Finally some more news about the missing in action Liberator Chronicles 12.

And confirming more to come this year, but no more details as usual.

Whilst I shall be sad to see the end of the consistently excellent Liberator Chronicles series, I am excited to see the resolution of the Armageddon Storm and Vila's father story threads. They will doubtless go out on a high!

Can't wait.

Have been listening to them again, and just finished LC 11, which was superb, especially Poison.

Roll on April, lots to look forward to.

Anxiously waiting for LC#12. Keep buying the audio discs gang and they'll (hopefully) keep making them.

"But now we turn our attention to the gripping series finale, where the fate of an old ally is revealed..."

Clearing Del Grant from the decks of the Liberator?

"Guy Adams has crafted a two-parter that is quite literally Earth-shattering.'"

Shades of TLoE's "You can't call yourself the Terran Federation anymore."?

"...whose fate could lead to the destruction of the entire Earth..."

But probably doesn't! : )

He is a loose end that needs tidying up - unless he's in the shower for the whole 13 episodes of Derek Shock

I keep on teasing Paula that they'll kill him off. Although actually it would make his departure rather memorable. Plus we need a reason why Avon is acting so atypically in "Terminal" and suddenly actually wants Blake back on board. Maybe a big falling out and final shootout with Del Grant?

And they need to move the range forward and find another fifty or so long lost family members. Tarrant must have some aunts and uncles and cousins that are the secret puppet masters of the Universe or something...

Reversing the polarity of the neutron flow. I bet that means something. It sounds great.

Shush.... David Warner is excellent as Vila's Dad. So glad he's back.

Jenna's long-lost relatives were a lot less successful, I'll give you that. Wink

Also, bumping into relatives is what the original series did as well e.g. Cally's twin, Tarrant's brother, Blake's Uncle and Kissing Cousin, Dayna's father and half-sister, etc. Big Finish are just maintaining the tradition.

Plus Avon bumps into 'old acquaintances' Tynus and Grant within two episodes of each other, neither of which is planned. How big a coincidence is that? But it's part of being a fictionalised series, that's all. It happens.

I'm looking forward to an appearance by Avon's granny.

How about these as well:

Avon’s Evil Aunt: Dame Diana Rigg
Tarrant’s Dad: Sir Derek Jacobi
Soolin’s half-sister: Michelle Ryan
Soolin’s mum (who turns out not to be dead after all): Honor Blackman
Gan's American cousin: John Barrowman
Og’s auntie: Clifford Norgate

Great idea SD!!! Grin

While we're wishing for things, how about Charles Dance as Avon's brother?

Avon's brother has already been done; how about Charles Dance as Avon's dad?

I wonder if the last one is too subtle, though, and whether anyone realises who Clifford Norgate was Wink

He was in The Horns of Nimon.

The voices were fine, the problems lie in everything else!
