Has anyone got access to an original Liberator gun holster?
A very long shot I know, but I was wondering if anybody here might know of the existence of an original studio-used Liberator gun holster. I'd like to know if the upper part of the holster is just smooth on the inside, or if it's ribbed to conform to the black and transparent ribs on the collar section of the gun.

I've had a very good replica gun and holster made for me, to the correct 1:1 studio scale and using the original materials as far as possible, and the only minor shortcoming is that it doesn't make the same noise when the gun is drawn from or replaced in the holster. On TV, there's that distinctive noise that sounds like the ribs on the gun are rubbing against corresponding ribs inside the holster.

There's a few replica building enthusiasts here, so I hope someone can assist you!

Reversing the polarity of the neutron flow. I bet that means something. It sounds great.

The one I made makes the right sound, as it should be just smooth on the inside of the holster....It is the clear turned rod that makes the sound as it comes out the holster tube, so needs to be the correct diameter to tube size....
