The problem with historical companions, if only in their first few stories. Eventually you can cover the lack of personal knowledge with the 'learnt it on my travels' ploy...

In their defense, Hines was never supposed to make it past the Highlanders so they had to scramble to fit him into the next couple of stories

They don't need defending, it wasn't a criticism; just an observation on the extra level of development that historical characters need in time travel fiction that visits the present day.

Agreed though in the audios Eremim worked well from the start. Actually so did Leela, she kinda counts right?

Erimem and Leela also have scenes where they don't know about things we take for granted, probably more than Jamie to be honest. All three worked imo.
Reversing the polarity of the neutron flow. I bet that means something. It sounds great.

Eating scenes were quite rare and welcome when worked into the stories, but that one feels a bit odd because it's so out of the blue.

I did like the Mighty Trout sneaking in a sandwich in the Dominators.

And another in The Invasion Wink

Yes he and Jaime in Isobel's house?

That's the one!

Totally. Katarina didn't though sadly.

Like The Enemy of the World, this story heavily rips off James Bond; just a different aspect.

Joseph Furst!! Another legend, and Bond actor too.

Trying to reconcile this with The Time Monster is 'interesting', but I decided it wasn't worth the bother ages ago... Wink

Yay, moving pictures.

And a much superior episode coming up.

It was a good line, but Anneke's disinterest in Polly's role in the story is already showing through by that point.
