I love Wilfred Mott aka Bernard Cribbins. -P

Martha as a damsel in distress. Maybe that's why TT doesn't think this episode works for him?
Reversing the polarity of the neutron flow. I bet that means something. It sounds great.

The Rattigan Academy reminds me of Ransack in The Avengers: The Master Minds.

Have not always been impressed by the design work on the new series, but the Sontarans imo were really good. They look the part and also are clearly the same race as in the original series.

Dan Starkey, playing a Sontaran other than Strax.

I agree completely. I think they over did some of the races but the Sontarans only got better. Especially with Dan Starkey as Strax . Met him and he's hilarious! -P

Dan was in a BFP drama I listened to today and was brilliant in that too. Grin

Just dropping in... have now dropped off my pressies.

Will see you for the Avengers.... is it at 9.15pm.

Meanwhile, can't believe RTD turned Martha the Doctor into a Soldier... once of his worst ever moves. I loved Martha in Season 29, but she's so out-of-character here it's true. The woman is a Doctor, she cares for people, she's no soldier.

Nope, it';s because Martha is not a soldier.

imo this is one of the very best new series cliff-hangers.

And I liked the Sontar-Ha! chant; it added depth to their alien psyche.
