This will be on BBC1 October 27th at 18:00! I wish I could watch it outside UK.

A sci fi edition of the general knowledge quiz in which four teams try to come up with the answers that no-one else could think of. Presented by Alexander Armstrong and co-host Richard Osman, and featuring Hattie Hayridge and Jessie Cave, Peter Davison and Katy Manning, Paul Darrow and Michael Keating, Kiran Shah and Jimmy Vee.

Mrs_Underhill, I am hoping we can see this episode after it airs on the BBC. Perhaps their website or YouTube? I would love to see this too!

I got it recorded, it was an absolute delight and it was so good to see Paul there - that he could go on stage and enjoy himself and be awesome, and their duet with Michael was a joy to watch!
Everybody was lovely there: Peter and Katy, and Kiran Shah and Jimmy Vee (who played R2D2!), and the other pair which I didn't know but it was all great.

I got recorded, it could be downloaded from here (if it's not OK to post links I'll remove them):

It was so lovely to see both Michael and Paul in Pointless. Lovely in particular to see Paul in top form, been a while since I've seen him around, so that was really nice to see Smile
Yes a lovely episode of Pointless...and Mr D sporting the beginnings of a beard!!!
If only he had said Stanley Matthews!!!!!! Angry
Cold.....you don't know the meaning of cold.
Cold is when you have ice on the INSIDE of the window!!!

I swear I started a thread for this episode of Pointless Celebs a week or so back, but I must be dreaming as I can't see it anywhere.

Anyway, cough, cough.

Bless you, Joe, I was hoping someone would post it somewhere! GrinGrinGrin

Somebody did...it could have been you...I saw it but couldn't remember where!
"We're in the centre of a mystical convergence here."
That was lovely, nice to see Avon and Vila reunited!
Briggsy, Katy Manning was in Death of the Doctor, Sarah Jane adventures, comparatively recently, lovely story too!

As this edition of Pointless Celebrities started I thought
"well they're going to win obviously". I was never in any doubt. The idea of them not winning was inconceivable to me.
Blakes 7 rules!
"We're in the centre of a mystical convergence here."
Well, my first impression of the program was, 'I have met 5 of the 8 contestants on stage!'. My second impression, and I already knew this, was that both Paul and Michael are intelligent and will win this game easily. I'm very glad to say I liked the outcome!

It was a joy seeing the boys together again and oh, Paul now has a beard! Ace!

So glad to see Blake's 7 so hightly thought of and represented by two of the best!
Zil: Oneness must resist the Host.
Great to see our heroes and in such good form into the bargain! By the way, the first time I saw Pointless was in a hotel room in Britain, and it took me a while to figure our the scoring system!
Interesting to see that most of the time, Michael and Paul went for the same answers that I would have chosen! (Although I would have gone for the Pre-Raphaelites!)
I loved how one of the hosts shared his fond childhood memories of B7 ('I played Avon more often than you, Paul!' ) My only point of criticism: 'He looks a bit like Chewbacca after a shave and a wax.' With two B7 actors present, that line would have been much funnier if he said '... like Og with a shave and a wax ...'
Oh, and good to hear that Jethro Tull got a mention! Grin

I was waiting to hear Michael say they were getting the answers through a miniaturised Orac!
Who's giving Veruca a hard time?

.... a clue (pls)?

Hmm, it's from Angels... and it's got to be S1 or S2 because Simply Media stopped releasing the series after that... hmm.

(Though, that said, now that we're getting S5 & S6 of Grange Hill, it's possible someone will eventually release more of Angels.)
Yes, it's Angels, Season 2.

Clue? Well, one of the Liberator crew did find her quite angelic.
Is it Julia Vidler who played Avalon in the episode Project Avalon?

Wow! I got it right.
Well played, everyone.

Julia played Sister Bodinetz in Angels - Coming To Terms, 1976.

I'll probably post some more framecaps shortly.
