Does it help to compare to a screencap of Mjr Grenlee?

(HMMMMM this comparison suggestion would have made more sense if this post ended up on the SAME PAGE as prev screencaps....!!)

Yeah, I can see it, but he had very different looks for the two roles.

Yep, I *really* like that - sort of - "slang" too, such good writing & acting!

OH SORRY, thot I heard Donald Douglas doing a SCOTS accent!
Am I going mad?
(Possibly, but I'm getting used to that feeling!)

Enlightenment most welcome!

Already been mentioned a couple of times in other threads, but isn't out of place to repeat here in the "Spotted" thread -
Spotted Micheal Sheard (Section Leader Klegg in 28.PowerPlay) as Lawrence Scarman in DrWho#4 Pyramids of Mars!

Less a bully, now playing a devoted brother. VERY well played in a delightfully surreal story!

John Savident in 1990 , Edward Woodward, very 1984, also Barbara Kellerman from Quatermass Beasts etc

Endless Midnight
Has anyone else also noticed that it's Colin Farrell (Gambrill from Killer) who is in that Porridge episode where Fletcher is in the prison hospital? He plays the prisoner in the bed opposite who gets caught trying to dig up a football pitch at the end.

Farrell also appeared in a couple of Last of the Summer Wine episodes playing a cousin of Clegg, Peter Sallis's character.

Derek Smith (Largo from Shadow) appeared in a small role as a Crimean War veteran in the David Tennant Doctor Who episode 'Human Nature'.

David Jackson in the Big Sleep remake, gets a scene with Robert Mitchum!

He's wearing near enough the same outfit in the opening scene of the Persuaders episode "A Home of Ones Own'; one of my faves of the entire series (and one of the funniest) and written by our very own Mr Nation. Even Stephen Grief turns up in one as a very dodgy Russian.
Cold.....you don't know the meaning of cold.
Cold is when you have ice on the INSIDE of the window!!!

...nice to see they left out the apostrophe! Very canonical.

Network have finally released the sixth & final series of "Whodunnit?", both as a standalone release and as part of a complete box set. Run out and buy both now!

Paul has a starring role in episode 10, "A Date with Death" (aka "A Dead Cert") as an undercover police detective named Philby.

Given the show involved a pre-recorded story and then interrogation of the cast by the guest panel, Paul had to don the dress again for the in-studio questioning.
