Mandarin?!
I don't think he was (or was meant to be) Oriental!

The (admittedly fan-made, so not 'official') B7 Script transcripts have his name as "Mandrian".... it also points out Nigel Humphreys played Sondheim, not Mandrian...

Mandrian: Stephen Tate
Sonheim: Nigel Humphreys

So was it Nigel Humphreys or Stephen Tate you saw then?

(SORRY for being such an anorak)

Lurve Prentis Hancock. I have seen him on a few oldies just lately. I meant say I loved the intro he did to that Space1999 book - the one in which we find out what happened to his character after S1. Sorry My memory is terrible...err who am I speaking to.....Grin got anymore Space1999 book recommendations? Finally got around to reading Resurrection: very disturbing and highly enjoyable!

How about Aftershock and Awe graphic novel? Craig in an air sea rescue eagle! Bred for adversity very good too, another Powys one. U read Shepherd moon didn't you?
Agree about Resurrection. Bergman one good too, what's that called?

I will have a look when I get paid. Living on stale bread and fighting the cat for her kibble at the moment. These S1999 books are far surpassing what I thought they would be. They are really making my head spin. I like that in a book and they also make me want to get back into my SF reading. I have been doing too much re-reading just lately. I like to re-read but you have to balance it with the stuff you haven't read.

very true, having my mind thoroughly blown by the Thing Itself, what is this guy on...? I re-read John Rankine (Douglas R Mason) whenever I need to lose myself. Interstellar 2 5, One is One...brilliant. Try the first one sparepart, epic

Maximum Power
You can catch Sally Knyvette on weekday afternoons on ITV3 at the moment - they've just started a rerun of Emmerdale from 1989.

Gareth Thomas, just as I switched on the TV, The Naval Treaty/ Sherlock Holmes...my heart raced as Holmes did the big reveal and it was Blake!

He seems - adam roberts that is - to be on a theme with taking other writers' stories and doing something with them. He has already done a rework of Verne's 20,000 Leagues...He is in good company Stephen Baxter has done Time Ships, a sequel to The Time Machine and he has currently got a follow up to War of the Worlds. But they are quality writers.
