I've been having a Gareth Thomas tv-fest this week (My friend lent me the wacky Star Maidens and I'm guiltily enjoying it too much).

Star Maidens is so much fun, totally bonkers but fun.

I don't know what this is about, but I definitely hear a rebellious streak in her performance! I wish this meant that she is rehearsing for a comeback ... https://youtu.be/...

Yes, I have an 8x10 framed on my desk here of him in Liver Birds. Gorgeous, isn't he? *blush*

Spotted Tom Chadbon in 'Agatha Raisin and the Wellspring of Death', an even sillier version of Midsomer Murders with an amateur sleuth. He was only in it very briefly at the start before he became the first victim.

While enjoying a leisurely breakfast this morning I cast about for something to read. The first thing to hand was, er, an old "Metal Mickey" paperback. Opening it at random I met this old friend from "Ultraworld".

Watched a tiny bit of the Lawrence Fishburne "Othello", and there was Egrorian (John Savident) sitting in a corner of the Venetian court.

The Saint this evening. Where the Money is..written by Mr Nation with John Savident as the baddie (well, you thought he was the goodie, but then it transpired that he wasn't!). What I'm liking about this series is that the stuntman, Leslie Crawford, seems to be getting the actors to do most of their own stunts in the fight scenes. Mr Moore appears to be having the time of his life beating the living daylights out of the other guy..or guys. In an episode a few nights ago even Jean Marsh (from Upstairs and Downstairs) was hurling herself over the furniture!!!

I was listening to the BBC radio adaption of "Tinker Tailor Soldier Spy" in the car last night. Stephen Greif played Colonel Polyakov, a Russian giving information to MI6. A good choice as one of the MI6 ladies described his voice as being so smooth she would listen to the intelligence tapes twice over, just to hear him speaking.

Watching the BBC production of Romeo & Juliet yesterday (maybe because of another thread on this forum Grin). Apart from a young Alan Rickman as Tybalt, there were also a couple of B7 veterans:

Romeo bought his lethal poison from none other than the Chairman of the Terra Nostra (maybe it was a Shadow derivative)! (No, I wouldn't have recognised him, either.)

We also had an admiral (Star Killer Samor) and a mad scientist (Egrorian) as a man of the cloth:
