Look what the daily mail's TV critic put in his review of The Hollow Crown.....

Strangely enough, I found myself thinking the exact same thing...except of course, it was leather, not nylon!!!!!
Cold.....you don't know the meaning of cold.

Oh me too. Except he was unambiguously villainous whereas Avon - well who can tell? But I also thought, 'Has he modelled this on Kerr Avon? Or Paul's performance as the Sheriff of Nottingham? ( sans beard) "

Oh, wow, credit to Paul Darrow and to Kerr Avon! Every actor likes this.
You see, Anniew, what my opinion is about Avon...

Thanks for sharing that review, Littlesue.
I don't have access to the Hollow Crown; I hope the review will stir up many good memories!

The Hollow Crown #1 was an excellent production and we look forward to #2 as soon as we can get our hands on it. Very nice nod to PD there, too.

I noticed her name when she was cast, and I'm pleased to see she's got a fairly decent role.

Are they recycled or just standard boards bought by props departments for different shows?

I need to track this one down. I've been having a Gareth Thomas tv-fest this week (My friend lent me the wacky Star Maidens and I'm guiltily enjoying it too much).
