Can someone remind me how to paste a photo into a forum reply?

Thanks

MrsMrOlag
I've just started doing it myself so here's an easy guide-

1. Upload your image(s) to photobucket or imgur or some equivalent online hosting site.
2. Copy the link of the image you wish to post (each hosting site is different but if you cant find it you can right click the image and hit 'properties' and the link will show up on that).
3. Go to your reply and press the little image icon and this will appear (without the spaces or +): [ i m g ]+[ / i m g ]
4. Paste your image link in between the ] and [ where i've put a +
5. Repeat for each image
6. Preview and check it looks like you want, then post!

Hope that helps! Wink

MrsMrOlag has basically nailed it.

Check out the website and tech forum here. It answers many such questions with step by step illustrated instructions.

Thanks both - you may have seen on the Peterborough thread that I managed to work it out Smile

It is a pretty straight forward process. Glad you figured it out.

Upload the picture that you want via image upload. Then, I just click on the piccie that I want. On the right up comes a box and I select the one that says forum etc, then press copy. then return to the forum press paste and up it comes.
At the mo, I'm getting to grips with changing all my stories to PDFs and uploading to Mediafire. Hopefully they will be safe in case this comp breaks down. I've also got everything on a external hard drive...not bad for someone who was born before computers were invented!!Grin
Cold.....you don't know the meaning of cold.

My FIL is eighty-lots and he's one of the tech-savviest people I know. He was a Silver Surfer over 20 years ago when all we had in the Uk was stupid dial-up.

I used to use My Little Phoney which was based in Guildford in the mid 1980's...
I used to be such a sweet sweet thing
Till they got a hold of me.
