Just read Goldfinch by Donna Tartt. Recommended.
GARETH THOMAS: Paul is a very generous man, as a human being and as an actor. The programme couldn’t have been made if we hadn’t got on. Our working relationship was magic.

The awesome epic Song of Ice & Fire (aka Game of Thrones) on continuous loop. This is may be my fourth re-read, but I've lost count. I do read other books in between - most recently Doris Lessing's The Fifth Child - not recommended. It's a cross between Rosemary's Baby and We Need to Talk About Kevin, but not as good as either of those. Twitter: @TravisinaB7
My views are my own VILA: I'm entitled to my opinion. AVON: It is your assumption that we are entitled to it as well that is irritating. |

It's most people's least favourite, but I didn't mind - after being utterly lacerated by Storm of Swords (finished that first time round at 4.00am with pounding heart and sweating palms), I was quite glad to take a break and play with new characters in different countries. I needed a breather! Twitter: @TravisinaB7

After your recommendation a while back, and becoming frustrated by the amount of spoilery conversations when I was only watching the show, I read all the books last summer. Excellent, though I can't remember what happens in each book, they've merged together. I can't re-read them though, I've got too many other books pending! Currently reading 'Dragon Haven' by Robin Hobb. |

Star Trek: The Lost Years by J.M. Dillard. It's set in 2270, just after Enterprise finishes its five year mission and the crew are reassigned. It explains why Captain Kirk was promoted to a desk job and why Spock resigned his commission to take the Kolinahr. It has two plots that intertwine and keep the reader entertained. Admiral Kirk is sent to negotiate a hostage crisis on a distant world where Lieutenant Commander Uhura and Ambassador Sarek have been taken hostage. Whilst on Vulcan, McCoy and Spock become involved in a crisis when the Katra of one of the ancient deadly Mind Lords of ShannaiKahr escapes. |

I discovered the books cheap at an op shop. |

I am catching up on some comic books. The medium has really grown. Whilst I still love reading superheroes punching each other there is so much more out there. On my day off I read three issues of a cool espionage book Velvet. 5 issues of a dystopian book called Lazarus and now I'm catching up on the epic horror comic Crossed: Badlands. Tomorrow I also have off for a funeral so after that it'll be comfort reading. Spider-Man all the way. In regards to books I'm part way through C in Muir's Blakes 7 book. |

Game of Thrones. It never ends. The more I read, the more is left to read.
