Blake needs quite a lot of time to put the beaker onto the table Grin the explosive charge must have been difficult to find for Gareth!

Yes, I noticed that! He covers quite well with his dialogue.

However, in the fairy-tale world of Star Wars, it's only 'clean' shooting ... none of the supposed heroes snaps someone's neck.

I'm not a Blake fan,

Excuse me!! Say what!! Are you on the wrong website??

It's all right. There are not many Blake fans among the Blake's 7 fan.

I'd never really compared B7 with Star Wars, but I guess Project Avalon is one of the most 'action' episodes.

Not just action (eg there's plenty in Traitor) but its particular style.

I have no problems with it, this episode looks good, is acted great and unlike Star Wars is quite brutal. The feel of some of it is Star Warsy, but that movie was a giant! This show though can and did do things Star Wars would never have the stomach too.

It's definitely possible to be a B7 fan, while not being keen on the character of Blake. He is somewhat unlikable Wink

It's actually a fantastic interpretation from Gareth Thomas. Playing a whiter-than-white hero and making him unlikable, with the writers then picking up on this in Barney.

Suddenly Avalon Androdi is making servo-motor noises when she hasn't before...

Star Wars was black & white, B7 has all the shades of grey.

Yes, I always thought that it would be much more convincing and effective without the noises.

"He is demanding."

I love it!!

Yes everyone I think Blake is a total..... (unable to use the words I want here)

Why do I love the show? well I can answer that just using names. Avon, Vila, Dayna, Servalan, Cally, Tarrant, Soolin, Travis 1 and Jenna.

Also most of my top ten are from the Avon era.

You'll have to pardon me if I don't get into a debate about that.

A really great rewatch, thank you all for the company ... I should do this more often on Saturday morning, but you know the saying: The early worm is caught by the bird!

Have a nice day/good night! Oops

That was great! A really good ep - one of my faves of Season A - and excellent company to rewatch it with!

Have a good weekend, everyone Smile
