I love how some Cybermen just stand there. It's so creepy!

I had never really noticed that before but yes they don't do anything unless required. That definitely has a certain creepiness to it

Yes! Standing there looking blank and disturbing. Its really effective

That's me on a Monday morning after a heavy weekend

Real-life Polly is even more gorgeous, we definitely need to fit in The Underwater Menace at some point so that we see more of her.

Absolutely!
Reversing the polarity of the neutron flow. I bet that means something. It sounds great.

Considering how powerful and effective the Gravitron if deployed as a weapon, it's existence is actually quite implausible. But it works well as a fantasy concept.

And let's leave it unprotected on the Moon Grin

"Everything you have said in the last half hour has been overheard"

Well obviously, it was on BBC1 after the football results!

And Earth doesn't learn when they move Weather Control down to Earth and put T-Mat control unprotected on the Moon instead

Indeed! It's fun, but doesn't stand up to scrutiny Grin

Jamie and Ben do rather steal the limelight from one another. Once Ben departs, Jamie becomes the star of "Evil", love Jamie's uneasy relationship at times in that story with a very manipulative.

We'll see the manipulative Doctor in "Tomb" next week.

The science in this is truly shocking. Thankfully the story doesn't make you think about it too much

Seeds is set before The Moonbase if I recall correctly; but yes, they don't learn do they?

Since Part 2 came to light (it's readily available online), I'll upped my opinion on the story. It was unfortunate for many years only the "dud" episode existed.

I am on holiday for the next two Sundays so I will miss Tomb but will be back for my second favourite Troughton story - Enemy of the World

Parts of this story give me a certain feeling of deja vu.... I wonder if comtenporary viewers noticed one story being a remake of another within four months of each other Grin

I love Hobson's question asking if there's anything the Cybermen haven't got, when the Doctor replies that obviously they haven't got a Gravitron or they "wouldn't be after yours!"; Pat's delivery of that line always makes me laugh. Grin
