Yep and to refresh my memory. Otherwise I'll be posting little and watching more.

Just to let you know that I'm working next Sunday morning and won't be able to join you for the first two episodes.
Reversing the polarity of the neutron flow. I bet that means something. It sounds great.

Can't make the rewatch tomorrow morning, so will watch the episodes tonight. GC and Tyce, enjoy the rewatch tomorrow.

What we have of the British summer (it's not much Grin ) is drawing to an end, so should start to be out on 10am on a Sunday slightly less from now Wink

Here goes.... an isolated base in a remote location.... feels like the Troughton era already.

Polly is gorgeous.

The Antarctic exterior set is a cracker.

At least Robert Beatty's accent is genuine.

The science in this story is shot away... with planets travelling through space. Such a thing would cause mass tidel waves, etc, across the Earth.

Blimey, the accents get worse Grin

Ooooh, first glance of the Cybermen!

End of part one - I love the Tenth Planet Cybermen!

The Mondasian accents are all wrong.

This version of the Cybermen is terrific - the blank faces, the human hands, the weird sing-song voices.

Rarely bettered afterwards, although maybe by the Moonbase/Tomb version.

The premise of the Cybermen is horrific. Men who have removed their humanity.

This is a big step forward from The War Machines. The War Machines were bulky and silly, whereas the Cybermen are genuinely terrifying.
