Blakes 7 - Return To Gauda Prime 1 DVD
Spaceresearcher
Just so it's not forgotten, here's a new thread for any updates on the DVD that was in production for the Return To Gauda Prime 1 event.

The clips I saw just a few years ago where amazing and I certainly don't want this terrific project to be forgotten about.

So fingers crossed and I hope we all get a chance to view the final product in the new financial year.

The release is not forgotten, but at the moment there are no further updates to share. Be assured that we will do so when there is news to post, but only as and when there's something definite to share.
Reversing the polarity of the neutron flow. I bet that means something. It sounds great.

Terrific to hear SD. Looking forward to an update in the not too distant future.

The trailers were wonderful! Thanks for posting them. How long ago was this convention now?

Meegat, RTGP1 was in the October 2011.

Oh, those were a joy to watch. I am so jealous that I missed RTGP I. 2011 was not a great year in my life and this would have done me a power of good. Still, better late than never. I look forward to the finished article and seeing you all at RTGP III next month.

Counting the days!

Cool

Many thanks Scott.

Dare I mention it, I think it's time to see if anyone knows what's happening with the RTGP 1 DVD????

Dare I say it, NOW would be a good time. I think this should be put together in memory of a great man we all loved. Would everyone agree fellow fans?

I understand your frustration, but truth be told, the person who recorded the footage and is the one who is to put together the DVD has recently had heart surgery (emergency) and he has just started on the road to recovery, so I don't see the DVD coming out any time soon. But we live in hope.

May I just quietly add to BPs words in that I'm grateful there is still interest in seeing the footage from RTGP 1 and believe me, every time someone posts about it, my heart sinks because I've got no news to give. I appreciate that the situation has aroused feelings of frustration and I can only offer what must seem like an insincere apology for the hopes that were raised at the time and have since been dashed.

Unfortunately, as has already been mentioned, health problems have been a factor very recently and I wish a speedy recovery to the gentleman concerned.

I think it's perhaps best if I state that for the foreseeable future the DVD is not going to be made available.

With this unfortunate news, I certainly wish the gentlemen in question a speedy recovery and hope things are getting better for him.

As the DVD will not be available for the foreseeable future(but I hope will be available in the distant future), here's a collection of clips from said event to tide you over and most importantly give you some wonderful Gareth Thomas moments to cherish.
