Is anyone else going to this event?
It starts even earlier this year, at 9am, which means I have to get to my driver's house at about 6.30am that Sunday!!!
Cold.....you don't know the meaning of cold.
Cold is when you have ice on the INSIDE of the window!!!

Hi Sue, yes I am, but only in the afternoon, from about 2pm is my plan.
The foolish reject what they see;
the wise reject what they think.

Karyn and I will have TARDIS and assorted things on display.

I believe B7Gary and Exterminator will be there.

The Doctor Who Whomobile will be on display, first time in 20 years!

Will see you there Clare, under the gazebo with my tea and cake I expect!
Daughter No. 2's significant other is taking his K9 along and I have been given instructions to make sure it doesn't roll around the car too much.
Clanger: yes, I heard about this Whomobile and it was mentioned in a newspaper by all accounts. Mat thinks it could be quite a busy day!!!!!

Littlesue, it did indeed make the papers, The Times no less!

It is going to be busy I'm sure, but it will be a fabulous day as always.

Some photos below from events past.

Looking forward to seeing those that can make it.

Should be there again this year, looking forward to the day Happy
Reversing the polarity of the neutron flow. I bet that means something. It sounds great.

Great stuff, the more the merrier, it will be lovely to see peeps, and to chat, it was a bit manic the last two times (Cygnus Alpha and BritSciFi).

Mike Tucker (BBC VFX and The Model UNIT) has been announced as attending, he usually brings some amazing props and models to look at, and is planning to bring the Spaceship from Tom Bakers Doctor Who story: City of Death.

Not been seen in public for many years.

Just over a week to go.

Can I buy a ticket at the door?

Yes!

For the astonishing price of just 3... Just turn up and hang out. It's a very relaxed low key event and loads of fun.

The one thing that strikes me looking at those photos is how little Matt Irvine has aged since 1978. He doesn't look that much different to me!
I'd love to come along but it looks quite an awkward place to get to by public transport.

Anniew
I'd love to visit. Must see if I can persuade non fan husband to drive!

There is no public transport that serves Hanslope on Sundays unfortunately.

Andy- please could you get a few shots of Mike Tucker's City of Death ship? It's one of the best remembered designs of that era. Cheers and everyone have a great time!

No problem, I think I can manage that. Grin

Between Phil and myself I can safely predict a few photos will be taken!

It is a fabulous design isn't it, of course; "best remembered designs of that era" wouldn't be influenced by a certain 'Duggan' being in the same story would it?
