Steven Pacey in Humans - episode 2
meegat39
Hi just saw this and was very surprised. For anyone who wants to see this you should be able to view it on 4OD. Steven Pacey plays a client in a synthetic brothel...

Yeah hasn't learnt anything from his experiences in Headhunter.. May the scent of his ole Scaletrix set was overwhelming..

There's something a bit weird about this. I've not watched 'Humans', but after your posts I went to look it up and found that in the credits the name is spelled 'Stephen Pacey' who according to the IMDB is somebody completely different -
http://www.imdb.c...fn_al_nm_1

So assuming this is 'our' Steven, somebody somewhere must have mis-spelled his name, which is why it didn't appear on my radar (so to speak) and hasn't been announced on the Roundup. Maybe Thetis can shed some light?

It was definitely him. I recognised him during his scene(s) and then doublechecked by reading the credits. I didn't notice the typo Sad

Yep, you're right. My friend was watching this at lunch time, and we checked and it's definitely Steven. Just the one scene, as far as I can tell?

Yes it was. I think I recognised his teeth first!! Very naughty of IMDB to list the wrong Stephen/ven though!! I suppose they may have been given duff information. Does anyone know if it was spelt correctly in the credits??

That's how it was spelled in the Radio Times online -

which was the first place I went to look for information after reading your post.

I agree! And it must have been quite a coup for him getting a part in a new quality drama which is likely to be popular...

Yes, it's our Steven. He filmed the scene in October last year. Sorry, I wasn't on the ball for when it was broadcast in the UK, to give you a heads up.

Steven has quite a lot of credits under "Stephen", not only on IMDb, but for audiobooks as well. He knows; I mentioned it to him a few years back.

Thanks Thetis!

No problem Clare. Can't say I thought much of his cardie though!

Agreed, though I suspect the character's appearance was intentional.

Never mind the cardie, I didn't think much of the somewhat unpleasant character he was playing! (He played it very well, though)

That's the best thing to do!
It can even double his fame.
(although one would prefer it to double one's income...)

I'm reminded of what Paul Darrow has said at conventions, that as long as they spell his name correctly on the pay check and it clears, it does not matter...
