The very, very lovely Nicola Bryant Grin

Ah Peri, I had almost forgotten! Nicola is lovely, really, but Peri, very annoying at times.

Same here. I like Nicola, but not her character. At least, not on television! In the Big Finish audio stories where the 5th Doctor and Peri were joined by Caroline Morris, as Erimem, I thought the character worked much better.
Reversing the polarity of the neutron flow. I bet that means something. It sounds great.

Peri's gone and got them killed five minutes into the episode Grin

Funny thing is that Peter Davison hates celery.

Yes, we have a number of her BF discs and I like her in those.

Peri annoying? Not at all. One of the best companions of the 80s.

Hey, it's Roy Holder!!!

Turlough, Tegan and Mel were all great.

(and Romana, though she was a 70s companion)

Another good effect, where Morgus walks behind the hologram!

I always think it's no surprise that this is Robert Holmes' first DW story since writing four B7 scripts.

In this story, apart from the Doctor and Peri, they are no good guys (Jek and Morgus are both villians) and nearly everyone ends up dead Wink

And this story seems partially inspired by "Blake" - it's got the same, doomy feel and a massacre towards the end.

Graeme Harper's action scenes are worthy of Douglas Camfield. Happy

The combination of writing and direction take this story to a fantastic level.

City Of Death is my all-time No 1, with this, Talons, Genesis, Human Nature and Blink sparring for second place.
