Rewatch Oz - Dr Who: The Chase
Tyce
I like his leotard - NOT! Particularly the full frontal view.

Reptile people look a bit crap. Still a fun story

Episode 2 is probably my least favourite of the six, because of the over exposure of the Aridian costumes... and the Mire Beasts! But there's other things that do work, so it's not too bad.
Reversing the polarity of the neutron flow. I bet that means something. It sounds great.

I reckon Our Tel was inspired by the old Flash Gordon serials for this story.... it's very much in their style, constantly moving locations, and lots of different and weird and wonderful creatures.

Good point! There's a definite similarity.

It is a bit of a weak point. Episode 4 is also a bit weird.

Episode 6 is absolutely brilliant, though. Bring back the Mechanoids!!!

The close shot of the Daleks being lifted over the sand was never going to work!

Yes and it's excaudated by the leotard being two piece so it has that panty line coming down. But then this show was broadcast at 11.30pm and rated not suitable for children, right?

"my dear boy, we're trying to beat the Daleks, not start a jumble sale!" Grin Grin

The Mire Beasts bursting through the polystyrene blocks has to be a low point of the show visually, in terms of end result, although everyone was obviously trying their best.

The Doctor mentions constructing the TARDIS!!!

The music for this story is quite distinctive... it's a bit like the music for the later Dalek movies.
