A William Harntell holiday episode?

Spaceship Dispatcher
This is the Doctor-lite episode when William Hartnell was on holiday.
Reversing the polarity of the neutron flow. I bet that means something. It sounds great.

Yup, we only have to watch it once. And then it's out of the way... bit like the latter episodes of the Web Planet. The Chase is gonna seem glorious in comparison Grin

Ian Chesterton as action hero!!!

Spaceship Dispatcher
The dilemma facing the travellers is interesting, and I like the way the characters discuss the issues until separated in this episode.

From this point on, this story becomes quite a strong one for Vicki.

They should have had a few old costumes in the Space Museum... a Voord, a Sensorite, a Zarbi, etc. Wouldn't have cost any extra.

The incidental music for this story was entirely taken from library tracks, note the use of the same piece as later heard in Tomb of the Cybermen.

He's being played by a very good television actor of the day, but the cast were basically left to improvise virtually the whole performance; some were better at impro than others...
